You may remember me telling you last week that I had been chosen as 1 of 5 people to alter an IKEA mirror with the chance of winning a fantastic assortment of Annie Sloan products over at Dovetails.
Well my mirror arrived on Friday and I've had great fun painting, distressing, adding hessian, lace and netting! Topping it off with a few flowers and a beautiful little vintage image...oh and a little gold leaf too!
The 5 photos are now in the hands of Dovetails and the winner will be chosen by YOU! As soon as the photos go up the race begins and I'd love it if you'd pop over to Dovetails and like my photo (as long as mine is your favourite of course!). I will give a shout-out as soon as I see the photos up ;)

Just a little project to show you that was made by myself and hubby.
He made the table come foot rest from scratch! Upholstered foam edges with the table Annie Sloaned, crackled and dark waxed.
And it's really comfy 😊

Do you recognise the fabrics I'm using in my Mr Selfridge Quilt ...so called as I will be doing it whilst watching the gorgeous Harry on TV each Sunday evening, to be honest tho I could call it my Voice/Silent Witness/various film quilt!!
Take a look at the last photo I uploaded...the pink was a shirt and the white a dress!
As you can see from the picture I am in need of a Quilters Thimble/finger guard so if any of you out there know of any good ones please shout!
I will be updating you each weekend with the quilts progress and I have no idea how it will turn out as this is my very first paper piecing project that has more than 6 pieces!
Think of my sore finger tonight whilst Harry is on 😄

As well as handmade cards, wedding keepsakes and sewn items, I also love making up Nappy Cakes - all put together with quality disposable nappies and clothes at 3months+ so they can be left up on show for a while.
