Behind every order has been someone trying to navigate heartbreak, rebuilding confidence, financial pressure, self-doubt, and figuring out what comes next.

I’ve laughed this year.
I’ve cried this year.
I’ve questioned everything this year.

One of the biggest misconceptions about running Issie’s Sweeties is that I just weigh out sweets and tie a ribbon around a box. 🍬🎀

The reality? Every order starts long before the sweets are even picked. From sourcing products and designing collections to photography, social media, customer messages, website updates, packing orders and everything in between… it’s a lot more than people realise.

It’s about believing in something, losing that belief, finding it again, and continuing to show up even when things feel hard.

Issie’s Sweeties has been part of my life for nearly six years.

There have been incredible highs, difficult lows, and moments where I questioned whether I was cut out for running a business at all.

But every message, every order, every market, and every customer who chooses to shop with my little business reminds me why I started.

I’m not where I thought I’d be by now.
