A-Level Results Day! ✨
A huge well done to everyone getting their A-Level results today!
I remember this day so well every single year, even though mine was back in 2007 😳🤣 Definitely showing my age now!
I got the results I wanted and went off to university to study Geography. At the time, I went because that was just what you did. University was the expected next step, so off I went!
But if I’m truthful, what I had always wanted was my own shop. 🛍️
So I always say to people - do what YOU want to do. Follow your dreams, even if they’re different from what everyone else is doing.
University is absolutely the right path for some people, but it isn’t the only path. If there’s something you really want to do, give it a go. And if it doesn’t work out? At least you tried, you made a go of it and you’ll never be left wondering “what if?”
Regrets are the worst!
Your A-Level results might determine what you do next, but they definitely don’t determine where you’ll eventually end up.
18 year old me had absolutely no idea where life would take her… but she did eventually get that little shop she’d always wanted.
And talking of 18 year old me… enjoy this throwback to school, complete with the tiny eyebrows and side fringe 🤣 How trends change!!
