Following on my Claddagh post yesterday I've been asked to showcase some more Jewellery gifting ideas (and remember self gifting is also important)

This year has been a bumper year for all things Claddagh! It seems the oldest form of Friendship ring has become the trendiest fashion accessory ever.
Here at the our shop on Main St we have been proudly stocking the simple Claddagh ring for over 50 years. Damian wears one as a wedding ring as do many others. The traditional emblem of friendship, love and loyalty.
Today it has become a "fashion" item but many on hearing its story have decided its much more than that....
We have stock in Sterling Silver, Gold plate and also 9Ct Hallmarked Gold, all sizes!
We also stock pendants and earrings in both 9Ct and Sterling Silver.

A quick little walk around the shop The Souvenir Shop Portrush this morning before I unlock the door on another day on a rather overcast and cold Main St. And a sincere thankyou to all those who help us keep our doors open not just at Christmas but all year. We value ourselves for keeping you all in batteries, straps, engraving, the stables, the necessaries, the "bread and butter" bits, the everyday items you need. We also value the chat, the craic, the banter and the memories shared with both the old and the young.
We love the buzz of Summer with visitors and tourists, amazed at our heritage and our "cute little store" We love the magic of Winter when shop fronts illuminate the dark evenings with twinkling lights. We love the arrival of Spring, the buds of life again on the streets, the arrival of new stock. We love the sunsets in Autumn and the quieter evenings after a busy season.
We love ❤️ it all. The quiet days, the busy days, the familiar faces and those on holiday.
We even love the stressful days, they teach us appreciation for the joyful ones. We love the days when we can help you find the perfect gift when you've given up hope. We love the days when we can add a glimmer of happiness to those who need it, a smile, a word, a hug. We love the fact we're always almost ready for the season ahead, the week ahead, the day ahead. We love the fact we're not perfect and somedays we're wishing we didn't have the pegboard walks, the shelves Freddy made in the 60's, the bulky haberdashery cases, the lino'd, uneven floors.
But we wouldn't change a thing really, cause then we wouldn't be us would we, we'd be lost in the sameness, and what would we do then? .....
