💛 What if “I’m fine” doesn’t really mean fine?
Behind a child’s “I’m fine” there can sometimes be anxiety, overwhelm, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, or thoughts they don’t know how to put into words.
And when a child is waiting for support, those feelings don’t simply go away.
This is where A Safe Place comes in. 🌱
A Safe Place is a supportive, non-judgmental space for children and young people to explore what they’re experiencing, understand their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and build confidence and self-worth.
As a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, with professional experience working within CAMHS, I understand how difficult it can be for children and families to navigate mental health support.
My aim is simple:
✨ To listen without judgment.
✨ To help children make sense of big emotions.
✨ To develop practical coping strategies.
✨ To support emotional regulation.
✨ To nurture confidence and self-esteem.
✨ And, most importantly, to help young people feel heard, valued and safe.
Because sometimes, before a child can move forward, they simply need A Safe Place to be heard. 💛🌱
📩 If you’re a parent, carer, school or professional supporting a child who is struggling, please get in touch to find out more about how A Safe Place may be able to support them.
