We’ve been asking ourselves why some people choose handmade over machine-made and here’s our top three:

1. Handmade is unique, no item is the same and sometimes their own characteristics and imperfections make them even more beautiful! 😍

2. There’s usually a lovely story behind the products 💛. Whether it is about the actual piece, the materials, the maker, or the making process🔨… and you will be able to find out more about it as it’s likely that you’re buying it straight from the makers!

3. (And our favourite one) Buying handmade shows that you care 💝. You not only recognise the effort and skill that has gone into the product but also, if you are looking for a gift, chances are that you wanted something a tad more special for that loved one 🎁.

We’ve decided to make some greeting cards for you guys 💚. We have started with the design of collection of three and We are aiming to have them ready for the launch of our site! 🤞
Today, it’s been about the finishing touches, so assembling them, choosing the best stitching and colour matching the thread to the illustrations...So lots of trial and error but It's been such fun! 🤗

Who would’ve taught that not being in the workshop as often, would teach us that Stripping the logs is much easier, if we leave them to dry for a longer period of time 🕜 Plenty of logs are now bare and ready to be made into medal holders!
