Three Royal Doulton figures, each capturing a different piece of everyday life and tradition.
One of the things that makes Royal Doulton figures so collectible is the amount of character and storytelling packed into each piece. This trio is a wonderful example:
⚓ Sea Harvest HN 2257 – a Mary Nicoll design depicting a fisherman with his net, produced between 1969 and 1976.
🐕 The Huntsman HN 2492 – another characterful design by Mary Nicoll, capturing a traditional country huntsman accompanied by his terrier.
👞 Cobbler HN 1706 – designed by Charles Noke and produced between 1935 and 1969, celebrating an old traditional craft.
Together, they capture three very different worlds: the sea, the countryside and the workshop.
Royal Doulton has been creating character figures for generations, and pieces like these remain popular with collectors for their craftsmanship, detail and unmistakable personality.
If you could choose just one, which would you take home: Sea Harvest, The Huntsman or Cobbler?
