A quick heads-up for Wildwood visitors ✨

Wildwood at Port Solent is now closed for a three-week refurbishment, reopening on Monday 28th September.

The team will be busy giving the restaurant a fresh new look in the meantime, and we’re looking forward to showing you the refreshed space when the doors reopen.

Thank you for coming down to 999 Family Fun Day this weekend. 🚒

To Hampshire Search and Rescue, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, the Coastguard, South Central Ambulance Service, and the teams from the RNLI, MOD Police and RAYNET, thank you for giving families the chance to get up close to the vehicles and meet the people behind the uniforms.

The weekend also lined up with National Cinema Weekend at ODEON Port Solent, with plenty of familiar film characters making an appearance around Port Solent as cinema-goers headed in for £4 tickets.

A busy weekend all round, and a big thank you to everyone who joined us.

A note on vehicle entry at Port Solent Car Meets

With limited display space, clear entry criteria is in place to help keep the Car Meets safe, organised and fair for everyone attending.

Vehicle admission is based on agreed categories, while unusual or special vehicles are considered collectively by a committee of around 25 marshals. Decisions are not made by one individual. If a vehicle isn't admitted to the display area, free public parking is available immediately next to the event so our visitors can still enjoy the meet.

One more reason to be at Port Solent this weekend🎬

Alongside our annual 999 Day, ODEON Port Solent is taking part in National Cinema Weekend, with all tickets just £4 across Saturday and Sunday, including every seat and film format.

You can also pick up any size popcorn for £5, with screenings running from 9am into the evening across both days.

With 999 Day and National Cinema Weekend taking place together on Saturday, we’re expecting Port Solent to be busier than usual. Please allow extra time for parking, with overflow parking available if needed.

Meet local heroes at Port Solent's 999 Family Fun Day on Saturday 5th September, 10am–4pm. 🚒

Get up close to the vehicles, people and equipment behind the services that help keep the local community safe, with an impressive lineup of emergency vehicles, both historic and modern, to explore.

Among those attending will be Hampshire Search and Rescue, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, the Coastguard and South Central Ambulance Service, alongside displays from the RNLI, MOD Police and RAYNET.

Some services remain operational and may be called away during the event.
