👀 YES, THE BUILDING IS FOR SALE… BUT WE’RE STILL HERE! 💙

You may have spotted the rather large FOR SALE sign that’s appeared above Seeded, so we thought we’d better say something before the rumours start! 😂

The building is for sale — Seeded isn’t.

We have a lease in place and we’re carrying on exactly as normal. Same shop, same team, same mountains of fabric, yarn and buttons, same workshops, knit & natters and general crafty chaos!

So please don’t see the sign and think we’re closing or going anywhere — we’re very much still here and looking forward to welcoming you through the door. 🧶🪡🧵

In fact, we’ve got far too much planned to go anywhere just yet… 💙

The building might be looking for a new owner, but Seeded is staying put! 🌱

We are absolutely loving it here in The Tannery at Farnham Maltings! 🧶✨

It’s such a gorgeous, bright and airy space, and with the sunshine streaming in, all the yarns are looking even more dazzling! ☀️🌈

And here’s something new to us from Adriafil… a beautifully soft super chunky merino 😍

Squishy, cosy and just calling out to be made into something fabulous for autumn. 🍂🧶

A little heads-up for this weekend! 💙🧶

We’re packing up the wool, buttons and lots of other Seeded loveliness because we’re off to Unravel at Farnham Maltings!

As lots of Seeded will be coming on tour with us, our shop opening hours are slightly different:

💙 Friday – CLOSED
💙 Saturday – OPEN 10am–2pm

If you’re heading to Unravel, make sure you come and find us and say hello! We’ll have lots of gorgeous yarns, including plenty of sock wool, as well as some special show offers 👀🧶

And if you’re staying in Southsea, we’ll be open as usual on Saturday from 10am–2pm.

Oh my goodness… look at all that colour!

We’ve been gathering together some of our KnitPro Terra Sock Wool ready to bring along to Unravel at Farnham Maltings this weekend — and choosing which colourways to pack has not been easy!

From rich reds, pinks and berry shades to gorgeous teals and blues, soft neutrals and some fabulous multicoloured combinations, there is rather a lot to tempt you.

Terra is a lovely sock yarn, but definitely not just for socks — we can see it making beautiful shawls, scarves and all sorts of smaller knitted and crocheted projects too.

If you’re coming to Unravel, make sure you come and have a rummage through the baskets and pick out your favourite. We’ll be bringing lots of colour with us!

🧵✨ Day Two in Brighton! ✨🧵

It’s the second day of the Sew Happy Quilters Show at Brighton Racecourse, and Alexsis is back on the Seeded stand — and, naturally, she’s still busy sewing yet MORE vintage buttons onto cards! 😂🪡

Because you can never take too many buttons to a quilt show… right?! 😍

We’ve brought along lots of our fabulous vintage buttons, plus a gorgeous selection of quilting and dressmaking fabrics to tempt you.

If you’re heading to the show today, make sure you come over, say hello and have a good rummage through the Seeded stand. 💕🌸

And yes… there’s a very good chance Alexsis will still be sewing buttons onto cards when you arrive! 😂

Alexsis is at Brighton Racecourse TODAY and TOMORROW for the Sew Happy Quilters Association Quilt Show! 🪡🧵

She’s brought along a fabulous selection of Seeded goodies, including lots of gorgeous dressmaking and quilting fabrics, haberdashery and, of course, plenty of buttons! 💕🧵

Meanwhile, back in Southsea, Josephine is holding the fort in store today, so Seeded is OPEN as usual from 10am–2pm. 💙
