SOUND/ AV ENGINEERS WANTED

Lizard Events LTD is growing, and we’re looking for experienced sound engineers to join our team!

You must:

✅ Have previous experience working on high-pressure live events
✅ Be confident engineering live bands and conferences
✅ Be capable of setting up, operating and de-rigging sound equipment
✅ Hold a full, clean driving licence
✅ Be reliable, professional and comfortable working as part of a team
✅ Be willing to assist with other event-production work when required

This is a varied role and will not always be limited to sound. It may also include helping our wider production team with event setups and de-rigs.

We’re an ever-growing event production company working with some fantastic clients across a wide range of exciting events.

🐾 Nellie Update 🐾

Our lovely office dog Nellie is settling into life at Lizard Events very well!

She’s loving spending time with the team, supervising the office and making sure everyone takes regular cuddle breaks. After a busy day at work, she still has plenty of energy left for sunset walks and adventures.

We think she’s doing an excellent job so far — although her tea-making skills may need a little improvement!

Company Summer Party Setup

We loved creating this colourful outdoor setup for a recent company summer party.

With marquees, relaxed seating, parasols, picnic benches, garden games and bright festival-style flags, the space was transformed into the perfect setting for colleagues to relax, socialise and enjoy the sunshine.

A lovely pre-screening drinks reception at The Port House, ahead of a special showing of a David Attenborough film.

We created a relaxed, natural setting using rustic wooden furniture, greenery, warm uplighting and beautifully presented refreshments, including alcohol-free b**r, elderflower drinks, water and snacks.

A simple and welcoming setup that complemented the theme of the evening perfectly.

It was a pleasure to provide the AV and production support for the launch of the Portsmouth 100 Lion Trail. As a Portsmouth company, it’s always an honour to be part of events that celebrate our amazing city and bring the community together.

We can’t wait to follow the trail with our team and see all the fantastic lion sculptures across Portsmouth this summer. 🦁
