We have some final tweaks to do tomorrow morning but we are set up and ready to go.

We have a new colour of spinner set which will be revealed tomorrow and then on preorder after the weekend.

Looking forward to seeing you at some point over the weekend at The Scottish Yarn Festival

Just like this wall of mohair we have a warm and fuzzy feeling after our weekend at Newark Knitting and Wool Show

For a brand new show we were blown away with the atmosphere. The venue was amazing, the aisles had loads of space and the bacon butties were top notch.

The customers were so enthusiastic and we hope you enjoy all of your purchases.

Many thanks to Nick and Natasha for organising another fab event. We are looking forward to next year already

Sometimes a collab just works. When Castle Craft Collective reached out to tell me about the Beyond the Basics shawl I knew I had to dye up some sport weight.

The ladies popped into the show today and they were so lovely to chat with. You'll throughly enjoy the class if you are participating and if not you can get the pattern from Ravelry to make your own shawl.

We are launching a new yarn bundle for this amazing shawl Newark Knitting and Wool Show

This can be made in various different weights of yarn and is a great way to build your skills.

Designed by Castle Craft Collective this shawl incorporates lots of different techniques and can be made in one, two, three or however many colours you want.

You can buy the pattern for 'Beyond the Basics' from ravelry now. This one is in sport weight and will be displayed on our stand this weekend.

It's a great way to mix and match skeins from different dyers that you may see this weekend.

A massive thank you to Portsoy Bothy Knitters for an amazing day at

We had such a busy day I lost track of the amount of hugs from lots of familiar faces from previous shows as well as other vendors, some of whom we only see a couple of times a year.

We are exhausted, having a gin and tonic and I'm browsing ravelry for pattern recommendations.

Tomorrow we will unpack and get the dye list sorted. It's going to be a busy week ahead.
