It's been one of those days where the tearoom has been buzzing from start to finish.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us today and kept us on our toes. We welcomed breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and plenty of customers looking for a cool drink and a catch-up.

We finally had five minutes at the end of the day to sit down, cool off and celebrate another successful day together 😊 (alcohol-free at least until we get home!)

We genuinely enjoy welcoming you all through the door, and hopefully, our smiles show that we enjoy it just as much as our guests do.

One of the best things about running The Artea Room is meeting so many talented people.

I love crafts, creating and all the little finishing touches 😊

So when one of our customers, Mandy, showed me these beautiful handmade baby shower favours, I knew I had to have them. Honestly they are lovely 🥰 They'll add that extra special touch to baby shower celebrations at The Artea Room.

💜 It's not goodbye... it's see you at the weekend! 💜

Today is Charlotte's last weekday with us at The Artea Room as she heads off to pursue a career in the NHS.

Over the past year she's become known as our karaoke queen, entertainer, chief chatterbox and all-round ray of sunshine 😄🎤

We're incredibly proud of her and know she'll be brilliant in her new role, even if we're not quite sure the NHS is ready for her singing!

The good news is that Charlotte won't be disappearing completely and will still be making the occasional weekend appearance to help us out 😊

Please join us in wishing her lots of luck in her new adventure 💜

💜 Well, that's another lovely weekend over

We had birthday celebrations, two baby showers, friends catching up, families spending time together and lots of familiar faces enjoying tea, cake and relaxing in good company.

Sometimes when we stop and look around the tearoom, hearing the chatter and laughter, we're reminded why we took this adventure on in the first place 😊

Thank you to everyone who visited us this weekend. Whether you joined us for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or simply a cuppa, we really do appreciate your support.

After a busy day today, The Artea Room is looking lovely and fresh all ready for the week ahead, a full cake counter and plenty of tea waiting to be poured ☕️🍰

We're back open tomorrow from 11am to 4pm and we'd love to see you.

🎨 Our first Artea Art Group was a success! 💜

Thank you to our patient tutor today
We spent a lovely couple of hours doing our first canvas painting workshop, painting tulips in wellies 🌷👢

There was laughter, cuppas, delicious cake and lots of creativity along the way ☕️🍰

The best part? Nobody needed to be an artist. We simply had fun, had a go and created something to take home and be proud of 😊

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today and to our wonderful tutor for making the session so enjoyable.

We think all of the paintings turned out beautifully! 💜

Our next class date will be coming soon.

A little refresh at The Artea Room 💜 and how pretty it’s all looking in the morning sun ☀️ 🥰 ☀️

Mondays are our our chance to tackle jobs that are difficult to do when the tearoom is open and yesterday we continued making a few improvements, adding some new touches and freshening up the space ready for another busy week ahead.

We still have a long list which somehow keeps growing! 😄 but little by little, we're getting there.

We're really pleased with how it's coming together and hope you love it as much as we do 😊

Our little tearoom was buzzing today we had such a lovely day. We had a fab baby shower which we could hear the laughing from downstairs 🥰👶 🍼
a visit from the Binky the most adorable cat with her family, we had lots of our regulars and lots of new faces too. We also had a surprise visit from our good friends 😍

Thank you to everyone who visited and to our fantastic front of house team Ella and Katie who worked so hard and kept us smiling right up to the end of the day 🤩

We are all cleaned up, prepped and ready for tomorrow. We hope to see you.
