🍂 And that’s a wrap from us for a little while! 🍂

What a lovely week to finish on! Thank you so much to everyone who visited us – we’ve had birthdays, catch-ups, lots of lovely lunches and a gorgeous baby shower too. 🎈💕

And now… look at our poor little tearoom! 😭😂 We’ve stripped almost everything out and the Artea Autumn refresh has officially begun!

There’s lots happening while we’re closed – decorating, some new furniture, kitchen upgrades and plenty of little changes ready for autumn. 🍂

We’ve also been having a little play in the kitchen… 👀 Our new Autumn/Winter menu is nearly ready, so here are a couple of sneaky peeks at what’s coming! Including our new Artea Ploughman’s and our Sweet & Savoury light lunch – your choice of sandwich filling served with one of our delicious scones. 😋

And of course, we have some new teas coming too! 🫖💕 Because obviously we didn’t have enough already! 😂

We are now CLOSED for one week and will be back, all shiny and fresh, on Tuesday 15th September. 🥰

A huge thank you to our fabulous team for all their hard work this week, and to all of you for continuing to visit and support our tearoom. We really do appreciate it. ❤️

Now we’re leaving the professionals to it! 😂 But don’t worry, we’ll be back in afterwards to add all the fancy little touches ready for opening. 🤩

🍂 We’ve been a little quiet on Facebook lately… but we’ve been busy behind the scenes! 🍂

We’ve been planning our little Autumn refresh at Artea Room. 🥰

There are some new tables and chairs on the way, new kitchen equipment and refrigeration, a bit of painting and even some new heaters to keep us all cosy when those colder days arrive! 🍁☕️

And… our new Autumn/Winter menu is coming very soon too! 👀🍰

To get everything done, we’ll be closing for a week from Sunday 6th September, reopening on Tuesday 15th September.

But don’t worry – we’re open as normal all this week, right through until 4pm on Saturday, so there’s still plenty of time to pop in and see us before we get the paintbrushes out! 🖌️

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been up to. 💕🍂

Evening everyone! We’re just back home after another fantastic day at The Artea Room.

We were absolutely packed today, with a lovely mix of familiar faces and new visitors.

There were celebrations galore too, including some very special birthdays – an 80th and an 89th! 🎂🥳

We also welcomed visitors from France, who have since left us a wonderful 5-star Google review. Merci beaucoup! 🇫🇷❤️

We love knowing when you’re celebrating a birthday or special occasion, so please tell us when you book. We’ll happily add a complimentary balloon to your table to make the occasion that little bit more special… and if you’re lucky, you might even get a performance from The Artea Room Choir! Today’s singers were Charlotte and Katie - who were also equally awesome during service today, thanks both. 🎈🎶

And the celebrations continue tomorrow, with Afternoon Teas galore!

We’re obviously pretty good at those… if we don’t mind saying so ourselves. 😉🫖🍰

But you certainly don’t need to be celebrating to visit us. We still have space tomorrow if you fancy popping in for breakfast, lunch, a cuppa or, of course, a slice of cake. We'll be open from 11-4.

Thank you to everyone who spent part of your Saturday with us. Days like this are what The Artea Room is all about. ❤️

Now the weather has cooled down it’s time we got our cake counter filled again! So we now have some of the old favourites back on our cake counter 😋 Chrissys coffee, rhubarb and ginger and banoffee along with our most popular toffee apple are back and I can confirm they are really good 😈

What a fantastic way to start our weekend with a visit from the MX5 group. We hope they all enjoy a fab day out 🚘

We absolutely loved having you all with us, and afterwards we received this wonderful message:

Well we were filled to the brim today and what a lovely day. The dish of the day was definitely quiche 😋 the tearoom is now all clean and fresh, our prep is all done and the cake counter is filled with fresh treats 🍰
We will be back tomorrow 10-4pm so pop in and say Aloha! 🌺 🌴
