It may have been a very hot day in the Mosaic Workshop, but these ladies still had huge smiles on their faces as they cracked on with their cross-stitch projects! 🧵😊

Lisa is nearing completion of her Sylvester and Tweety Pie design, while Faye has just started a Highland cow piece after finishing a lovely pig design today.

It's fantastic to see the progress being made and the dedication shown by both of them, even in the heat.

Great work, Lisa and Faye! 👏✨

To celebrate Learning Disability Week, we wanted to share some pictures of Jake and Ross knitting scarves using looms 🧶

What we love about our Passion Projects here at Mosaic is that everyone has their own style of knitting or crocheting. It doesn’t matter how you do it -we find a way that suits the individual and helps them enjoy the process.

We hope posts like these inspire others to take up hobbies such as knitting or crocheting. There is always a way to learn, and with the right support and encouragement, everyone can get involved and create something they're proud of. 💙✨

Learning Disability Week 2026 is here 🧡

This year's theme, "Do You See Me?", is about making sure people with learning disabilities are seen, heard and valued.

Throughout the week, we'll be sharing stories from some of the incredible people we support, a case study exploring a parent's perspective, and celebrating individuals who have found employment through our Supported Employment service. Together, these stories show the difference the right opportunities and support can make.

Another lovely piece we wanted to share.

At Mosaic, Stephen has been working hard on this fantastic cross stitch of Herbie the car.

He was so excited to take it home and place it on his shelf alongside some of the other fabulous creations he has made over time.

Stephen looked incredibly proud of his finished piece, and rightly so. Well done, Stephen!

Pom pom creations!

Here we have the lovely Vivian working away on some fabulous pom poms. We love creating beautiful designs using pom poms and they are always a great activity for people to get involved with.

Hello and happy Tuesday!

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately as the team have been busy working on customer orders, whilst also spending time developing their passion projects.

For the lovely Lisa here, she loves developing her cross stitch skills and has been working on this beautiful Piglet piece.

We love watching the care and dedication that goes into these passion projects and seeing how proud everyone is of their finished items.
