They’ve arrived at THE TWISTED TREE here in Prestatyn!

What’s arrived?? we hear you ask!

Well, over the Summer, not only were we ordering all of our new stock and redesigning the main shop, the entrance to the back and the second room but we were also busy designing our very own range of Christmas Cards and general Greeting Cards for all family members in both English and Welsh!

We haven’t opened the box yet, but will do when the second room is finished this weekend so that we can get them up and put on the shelves, ready for you to start preparing for the festive season ahead. Sooooooo many varieties and designs for you to choose from ❤️

So many fabulous Christmas ‘stuff’ has also arrived and will be going out soon.

We can’t wait for you to see the second room when we re-open it. ❤️❤️

In other news…. All available tickets for PL Handley have now gone and the event is FULLY BOOKED. Whoop! Whoop!

A MESSAGE FROM SHERRIE HEWSON

A little message here, which we received via what’s app yesterday, from the lovely national treasure that is SHERRIE HEWSON.

Sherrie is touring with the Benidorm TV comedy programme themed show - The Benidorm Spectacular at the moment, soon to appear in the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, which we are attending. During these shows she is advertising non other than our wonderful shop - THE TWISTED TREE by putting up a fabulous banner we designed, advertising our on line shop www.thetwistedtree.uk during the show…. We are so grateful and very proud. We are also featured on Sherrie’s social media pages, which is wonderful.

Here is a video of Sherrie when she received the banner. We can’t wait for her to come to the shop to do some filming for all our socials and also to do some meet and greets with you, our wonderful customers.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE TWISTED TREE, PRESTATYN

As we are mid transformation there will be limited access to the second room at the back today as we aim to fully complete our redecorating and refurb during the day today and well into the night. Please ask a team member if you need anything that is not accessible and we will get it for you. Thanks to Lauren and Wendy for putting in long hours to help us achieve this in the ambitious time scale we set ourselves!

We have already finished transforming the entrance to the back room and we must admit it looks mighty fine and gorj!

Here at THE TWISTED TREE in Prestatyn, we have had so many compliments about our new shelving unit housing the gorgeously lovely candlelight products and the way we’ve displayed them, we thought that we’d give a little peek to those of you who haven’t been in to see this for yourself yet. Have a look at this vid. We must admit, we love these products, they are visually stunning and are simply superb.

In other news…..

❤️ The entrance to our back room has been finished and is a big transformation. This week we will be working every hour God sends to refurbish the back room to make it stunning . There will be new display shelving, new stock and a whole re vamp. It will hopefully be ready for this weekend.

❤️ Our next event - the meet and greet with author PL Handley is on Saturday so we will be closing at 4 to welcome our ticket holders into the shop. We have two tickets free on Eventbrite due to a cancellation! Grab them now!

❤️ Tickets for our FREE meet and greet with the author and illustrator of Fox under the Moon are going well, so please get yours before they run out.

Dave is in the shop today. He will be pricing loads of scarves, gloves and hats, ready to go out on display this coming weekend!

We are so excited here at THE TWISTED TREE in Prestatyn to have the wonderfully talented Stacey McNeill, the best selling author and illustrator come to do a book signing with us. Her new book, Fox under the Moon- Finding light in the darkness will be in the shop this week. Reserve your copy for Stacey to sign when she visits on the 6th November. You can have your photo taken and a personal message written on the book. What a fabulous gift to give someone. This is a free event, if you need a ticket. I’m so excited to be heading out and about over the next few months for lots of lovely Fox Under The Moon book signings... and I would LOVE to meet you! ❤️

If there’s one near you, please do come along and say hello. You’re very welcome to bring along books you already own for me to sign, or there will be books available to buy on the day too.

These events are being organised by the individual shops and venues rather than directly by me, so if you’d like more information about a particular event, please get in touch with the organiser at that location. One of my absolute favourite parts of doing this is getting to meet the people who read my words. I love hearing your stories, chatting about Fox and Moon, signing your books and finally putting faces to some of the names I see here so often.

Wow! Thanks to everyone who came in yesterday for your fabulously positive comments about some of the changes we have already made and our new stock. We were overwhelmed. More changes to come over the next week with a raft of new delicious stock being unloaded on to our shelves! Whoop whoop!

In today’s news…. The gorgeous cards of Emily Byrd are out and already proving very popular…… these aren’t just any card, these are 3-in-1 cars as after they are sent, they can be re-purposed and used as a postcard or a print! Fabulous or what?

A lot of you have been asking what we have been up to here at THE TWISTED TREE in Prestatyn….. well the answer is simple - a lot!

Not only have we been putting new stock out but we have been re-furbing each section as we go along. We will show you some of our new shelving and stock tomorrow in a video.

Did you know that we have 2 rooms of pure joy and gorgeousness for you to view? Both full to the brim with cards and gifts, in both English and in Welsh? We have been upgrading our signage and the entrance to our second room this week, with very early starts and late finishes. Our new carpets are down too!! Hopefully you’ll like what you see!

Next week will be a very big week for us with even more late nights as Dave, Andy, Wendy and Lauren are working after the shop has shut to fully refurb our second room to make it even more sumptuous, elegant and gorgeous. Watch this space for progress checks.

This lovely lady, Stacey McNeill, is already a huge hit with you, our customers as you all love her greetings cards and gifts range based on her best selling book Fox under the Moon - Seasons of comfort and hope. Stacey’s new book Fox under the Moon - Finding light in the darkness is being released in the next week or so and she will be in our shop, THE TWISTED TREE in Prestatyn on the 6th November where she will chat to you and sign her new book. If you already have Stacey’s books, please bring them with you to be signed. She will write personalised messages also.

We are open today from 10 till 4 here at THE TWISTED TREE in Prestatyn.

You seem to love the purple range we posted yesterday. Over the Summer some of you loved the blue range too….. well here is the blue, watch the video accompanied by the dulcet tones of our Dave!

Pop in today to see some changes and lots of new products as we have been pulling all nighters for the past couple of nights to get some new stock out and building new furniture for displaying our pieces of marvel and wonder. It’s looking mighty fine, even if we do say so ourselves!
