Hello, Prestatyn! 👋🏻

With the weather only getting hotter as the week goes on, we want to make sure we’re doing our part to help take care of our customers, volunteers and community ❤️

We’ve set up a little ‘Hydration Station’ near the entrance of our shop- please feel free to grab a cup of water if you’re in the area and need some help to beat the heat 🥵
All we ask is that you dispose of cups in the bin provided, or at appropriate places along the High Street if taking the cup away.

We hope you pop in to see us, and hopefully this will make it a little easier to do so!

☀️ Keeping your cats cool during the heatwave ☀️

It's hot out there, and with the temperatures set to rise throughout this week it's important to help our feline friends stay comfortable and safe.

🐾 Make sure your cat always has access to come back indoors, especially on hot, sunny days
🌳 Provide plenty of shady spots if they enjoy spending time outside
💧 Keep water bowls topped up with fresh water and consider placing extra bowls outdoors too
😺 Encourage regular drinking to help prevent dehydration
🌬️ A fan indoors can help keep the air circulating and provide a cooler environment.

Remember, cats can be affected by hot weather just like we can, so a few simple steps can help keep them happy and healthy all summer long 🐾❤️

We’re always seeking your good quality donations- right now we’re particularly in need of men’s summer clothing and books 👖📚

And if you’re eligible to sign up for Gift Aid, your donations can go that much further by helping us claim an extra 25p for every £1 made- meaning that much more cash for the kitty! 🐾❤️
