With two dining options, beautiful gifts, stylish homeware, garden furniture, kitchen accessories and more, it’s a full day out for the whole family to enjoy. At our heart, we are passionate about plants – and there are lots of them! Discover an amazing choice of healthy houseplants in all shapes and sizes. Our outdoor plant area is renowned for its premium quality plants, many of which are grown in our nurseries just down the road. We are so confident that our plants will thrive that each hardy tree, shrub and perennial comes with a Five-Year Hardy Plant Guarantee. We're easy to find on the main A6 between Preston and Garstang, surrounded by beautiful Lancashire countryside, with loads of free parking.

Looking for some fun things to do this October half term? There’s plenty happening.

🦎 Animal Encounters – Monday 26th October. Children will have a hands-on opportunity to meet, learn about, and get up close to a variety of friendly animals.

🎃 Pumpkin Sculpting – Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th & Wednesday 28th October. Watch award-winning pumpkin sculptor Simon McMinnis create some amazing Halloween masterpieces! FREE to attend.

🎨Pizza Party at The Potting Shed Studio - Enjoy pizza, prosecco and pottery painting in one creative session. 2 hour studio time, a glass of prosecco and a woodfired pizza by Crust+Co. (Non alcoholic options available – cordial or water.)
There’s something for everyone this half term, from Halloween magic to festive creativity! 🍂🎨

🎄✨ Christmas Preview Night in the Potting Shed Studio! ✨🎄
Christmas is coming to Barton Grange! 🎅✨ Join us for our Christmas Preview Evening on Thursday 22nd October, and make an evening of it with us. The Potting Shed Studio will be open throughout the evening (last session 8pm) giving you the perfect chance to get creative and paint your very own festive ceramic. 🎨

And when you’ve finished painting, soak up the Christmas atmosphere as you explore the beautiful Christmas displays and twinkling lights, with plenty of festive inspiration along the way. ✨

Feeling hungry? 🍲 Warm up with a delicious Christmas Preview Evening Hotpot Special in the Riverside Café, served from 4pm–7:30pm.

There’ll also be live music, entertainment, a complimentary glass of fizz and a mince pie to get you properly into the Christmas spirit. 🥂🎶

After years of loyal service bringing festive cheer to Barton Grange, our lovely ex-animatronic snowmen are ready to hang up their dancing boots and enjoy a well-deserved retirement! 🥹❤️

They may be a little worse for wear, a bit scruffy around the edges, and sadly no longer working, but they’ve still got plenty of character and Christmas charm to give as ornamental decorations! 🎄✨
