Now that all the important details have been confirmed, we can notify you all of a change of ownership for Tarty Bikes! This month, Tarty Bikes will be going home to one of its original founders, Dave Cleaver, the man behind Inspired bikes. I (Ben) will be exiting the business at the end of the month of March, 2026. This represents a significant change, but rest assured, Tarty Bikes will continue in the best possible hands. Dave has written a statement, as have I, clarifying the handover, and what will happen next.

Outstanding orders for customers will be processed and shipped as normal up to the cut-off of 11pm GMT on the 12th of March 2026. The site will remain active after this time, and you can place orders as normal, but no orders will be processed or shipped until March 30th, at which point Dave and his team will be the point of contact for all things Tarty Bikes going forward.
There is a lot of work still to be done for the handover, so phone, email and messaging may not be actioned as quickly as normal, but I will do my best! I plan to get all current outstanding orders shipped by the end of next week.

Spike 33 24" Tubeless rims are now back in stock! These have been absent for a little while, but they're back on the shelves and available now. We've been busy with wheel builds lately, and you can have your S***k rims built to any compatible hub we stock! Just select a wheel build service, and 24" spokes in silver or black, along with your chosen hubs.
Alternatively, you can send us your current hubs, and we can build these to any compatible rim of your choice. Drop us a DM if you want more info on custom wheel builds.

This came into the workshop from a local regular for an overhaul including two wheel builds, new BB, headset and a rear disc conversion. With a training session lined up, we were able to machine a small adaptor to get the rear caliper mount to fit nicely - another Tarty Bikes custom job complete, another rider with their bike ready to roll in time for the weekend!

It's new bike day for this customer! He's going to be rolling to his local Yorkshire spot this weekend on a brand-new Jealousy Next Gen 20"
We went the extra mile with some blue customisations for this customer. We re-built the whees onto Pro 5 hubs using alloy ni***es. We also modified the rear hub spacer and Crewkerz bash guard so they work nicely together, something not possible with off the shelf components. Hope blue accents on the brakes finish off this stunning build.
