Welcome to this page where I will post information about my passion of designing and making Anodised Aluminium Jewellery. I love working with this material as colour can be applied to the metal opening up endless design possibilities. The surface of the metal has microscopic pores that accept ink, once inking is complete the metal is steamed, this causes the surface to swell sealing in the colour.
I live on the coast of the Isle of Man and the beautiful surrounding scenery influences my designs. I like using the Ombre technique of blending colours together to represent seascapes and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Each batch of inking is unique and every piece of jewellery has been hand made with great care.
I would be very happy to discuss customised pieces.
I chose Phoenix as my business name as I love the symbol of this magnificent creature with the ability to start a new life rising from the ashes of a previous one. I can relate to that!
Anodised aluminium is lightweight, hypo allergenic and does not tarnish. It is easy to wear larger pieces without feeling weighed down.
When you buy a piece of jewellery from me it is gift wrapped and sent out by Royal Mail first class free of charge to people living on the Isle of Man and in the UK.
