Willacy Whimsys We source vintage china to create bespoke gifts for that someone special. With this in mind, I bring you Willacy's Whimsy's. Iam often at Leeds corn exchange.

Each gift is unique and comes beautifully presented in a gift box with handcrafted gift tags.

The ritual of 'Afternoon Tea' was a Victorian invention, credited to the Duchess of Bedford. Finding herself in need of a pick-me-up between lunch and dinner, the Duchess took to enjoying a piece of cake or crustless sandwich with a cup of tea served in the finest china. Soon, high society hostesses were serving Afternoon Tea and before long every fashionable household boasted china tea sets for the ritual which is now at the heart of British life. To me there is something magical about finding beautiful vintage pieces, full of character and soul, which have been passed down through the generations. With the help of my wonderful family, I have put together a collection of beautiful vintage tea sets and cake stands which make ideal gifts for loved ones or add an elegant finishing touch to any home. Take a look and tell me what you think, I hope you enjoy my whimsy's as much as I enjoyed finding them. My stall can often be seen at many vintage fairs, this year I was at 'Discover Vintage York Race Course', Judys affordable Vintage fair 'Vintage at Southbank' and 'Fly to the Past Oxford'.
