A big thank you to St Mary and St Andrew's Catholic Primary School, Barton and all our other donors who have given food for the Christmas Bags for Families. Our volunteers have done a brilliant job packing 317 of these and the first ones have already been collected for distribution via local schools.
This means our stocks and funds are now very low, so if you are able to donate either food or money we would be very grateful.

A record number of 358 Christmas Bags for struggling families have been packed and collected for distribution via local schools this year. A massive well done to our volunteers and a grateful thanks to all our donors. This of course means that our stocks are now very low so please keep donating! A massive thanks to the 9 people from Places for People who spent a day at the foodbank this week decorating. It now looks a lot cleaner and brighter. We look forward to welcoming them back in the New Year to complete the second half.

The last of our school food parcels for summer have gone out today! A total of 301 bags collected by local schools, who will distribute them amongst families who need a little helping hand during the summer holidays. (Below are a just a few of the teachers who came to collect for their schools).

An amazing team effort as always, and a massive thanks to everyone involved... from counting stock, collecting a HUGE aldi order, packing the bags, organising them into schools and the teachers who come to collect them.

And not forgetting a big thanks to everyone who donates, whether that be dropping off food, donating their time or sending monetary donations, thanks to you, we have managed to provide 301 bags to our local schools for their families.

It always amazes me how many bags we are able to get packed and delivered within 2 weeks of starting them. We truly have a remarkable team of volunteers 💚 and no doubt in a few weeks we will be planning again for our Christmas bags!
