This year we are turning 40 and we can’t quite believe it! 🎉

For four decades Fishergate Shopping Centre has been at the heart of Preston city centre, welcoming millions of incredible visitors, supporting brilliant local businesses and creating memories we hope will last a lifetime.

And now we want to celebrate with YOU! Come and join us on Saturday 22nd August from 11am to 3pm for a very special day! We have treats, party games, surprise guests, crafts, activities and so much more lined up to mark this very special milestone.

We absolutely love seeing so many of you enjoying our free soft play and Story Tree reading area, it really does make our day seeing little ones having the best time!

However, we did just want to drop a little reminder to please help us take care of our special little space. It has sadly been brought to our attention that a small number of visitors have been deliberately damaging books, pulling down decorations and bringing food and drinks into the play area.
This space is completely free and open for everyone to enjoy and we would love nothing more than to keep it that way- especially as we have some brilliant new games and activities arriving for the summer holidays alongside our free Friday workshops, and we really don’t want anything to spoil that for everyone.

With just a little care and kindness from everyone, we can make sure it stays a magical place for every child who visits.
Please remember:

📚 Treat our books, games and decorations with care and leave them for others to enjoy
🍎 Keep food and drinks outside of the play and reading area
🤝 Look after this space as if it were your own
💕Do NOT leave your child unattended at any time
