Under One Roof Lancashire County Council’s Essential Household Goods Support Scheme is a non-statutory service that provides support for the people of Lancashire.

Under One Roof provides support for Lancashire residents who need help to maintain or establish a home:
* Essential household items for residents with urgent needs but low income
* Help, advice and support to build security and independence The scheme now contracted to the Social Enterprise Lancashire Network (Selnet) is operating under the brand: Under One Roof. Under One Roof provides support fo

r residents who need help to maintain or establish a home. It provides free essential household items to those individuals/families who do not have access to sufficient income or funds to meet their immediate needs, along with help and advice in seeking additional support. The overall aim of the Service is to support people to meet their immediate needs and to help them feel more secure and live more independently in their community.

⭐ Would you like to be part of a service that makes a real difference to Lancashire residents when they need it most?

📢 Selnet is an Application & Pathway Coordinator to join our Inclusion Services team as we prepare to launch Lancashire County Council’s new Resilience & Essential Needs Support Scheme (RENSS) on 1st December 2026.

🏵️ Selnet has been delivering essential needs support across since 2013, most recently through our successful Under One Roof service. RENSS builds on that experience but takes the service further.

💬 As well as helping Lancashire residents experiencing financial hardship or crisis to access essential support, the new service will have a much stronger focus on resilience – helping people address some of the circumstances contributing to their crisis and connecting them with support that can help them become more secure and independent.

✅ We are looking for someone who is organised, compassionate, fair-minded and non-judgemental to join our team. Link for full details in comments!
