Just finished these two stockings, and about to deliver them. One more order to finish, then on to some cushions for the kitchen window seat, and I am finished for Christmas. I hope you all have as good a Christmas as possible and that 2021 holds more joy for all of us.🎄🎄🎄

Finally finished a set of cross stitch UFO’s the patterns for which I had purchased 15 years ago!!! Thanks to Nimble Thimbles in Oswestry for sourcing the buttons from the USA for me (no mean feat after 15 years),and also to The Frame Shop at Cedar Farm Mawdesley for their excellent advice and prompt service.

Currently loving making fabric baskets of all sizes. Today I’ve been disguising a cheap Easter egg with a fabric basket, that can be used as a pretty make up holder for a dressing table long after the egg has been eaten.

Happy 2020 everybody. Thought I’d start a new year by sewing a phone stand for myself, using a fabric scrap, and some out of date rice found during the kitchen renovations. Looking forward to getting back into my sewing groove.❤️❤️❤️

January 2019 has been spent completely gutting the living room. Fireplace removed, wall replastered, new electrics, every single surface sanded and then decorated, including priming, undercoating and glossing on woodwork. The new carpet was laid yesterday, dry cleaned curtains re-hung, just awaiting new corner unit tomorrow and we’re finished. YAY. So today I’m having a day doing what I want to do, sewing new cushions that hopefully will pull everything in the new look room together.
