Thats all folks!!
Time has come to officially let everyone know that I've made the decision to close Mint Cycle Works. Ideas, dreams and plans are currently all up in the air , im planning on being around to do repairs/upgrades/services for people but in a very different format to before. Concentrating on more of a work life balance and not the stress of full time workshop like I have been.
Thank you to all my fantastic customers/friends ive met and made over the years.
All I can say for now is watch this space and please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Good morning everyone, I need to address things with you lot this morning, I am fully aware the sun has come out and its lovely cycling weather, but if I have your bike here and I havnt contacted you its because its not finished and as always agreed I will call when its done. I work here alone and if I am spending all day answering the phone to calls about if your bike is done then im not getting anything done, Please bare with me im doing my best to keep everyone happy.
Orders get delayed, emergency jobs come through the door, 30 phone calls a day, plus all the stuff no one sees, making orders, finding the correct part, writing invoices etc etc it all takes time and im delayed getting bikes done........ times that for the last 2 years and im so far behind planned work its ridicules. This is a hard business to keep afloat and I also need to keep cash coming in so some jobs get bumped forward to help with cash flow, which in turn delays others (I am just trying to survive in this crazy expensive world)
Sorry for the rant but it all getting a little out of hand. Just rest assured I am trying to get things completed.
All I can say is if your unable to wait and need your bike now then please come and get it, if your happy to wait then great it will be done ASAP

Good morning all, finally I've woken up and actually made it out of bed, now I'm not 100% but I am going to be back I'm the workshop this morning. How long I last I can't say but progress is being made! Thank all for you patience.

A little example of what is needed just to do a bearing replacement on a rear hub. Always amazes me the amount of tools required for specific jobs, 3 of witch you might find in your normal tools box, but the majority are specialist cycle industry tools. Happy cycling all
