I'm so pleased to be taking part in the Prudhoe Art Trail again this year! The first week is over but there is still another week left to walk the route, visit the brilliant shops and view the amazing artwork. My paintings are available to view in G&S Electricals with cards and prints available to purchase.

I'm so proud to be part of something that brings unique art out into the world to be appreciated and admired and which shines a light on small businesses, showing what a thriving high street we have full of individuality and community.

We're Jubilee ready at G&S 🇬🇧

We've spent the afternoon making some special bunting to put up in the shop window, three generations of our family got involved! We hope you all enjoy seeing our decorations and have a fantastic bank holiday weekend!

We will be closed Bank Holiday Thursday and Friday, but will be open as usual on Saturday.

NEW PRODUCTS COMING SOON!!

We recently travelled to Birmingham to attend the annual trade show held by our buying group, Euronics. We got to preview lots of exciting new products which will be coming this year. There were stands from all the major electrical appliance brands, including some that are exclusive to Euronics members.

This week marked the 30th anniversary since we first opened. We can't believe how fast the years have gone by and it has been, and continues to be, a pleasure serving you all. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years!

For the third, and hopefully the last, time we are pleased to say we will once again be opening our doors to customers from tomorrow morning. We look forward to being able to serve you face to face again, after such a long time of only interacting with you all online and via the phone. We just wanted to say a quick thank you to all our lovely customers who have continued support us through the challenging year we've all had. We have today come across a post on the Facebook group People of Prudhoe on which many of you have recommended us as a supplier of electrical appliances, it was lovely to see and we are so grateful for you taking the time to support us in this way.

While the shop is once again closed, we have still been taking orders and delivering appliances while ensuring appropriate measures are taken to ensure the safety of everyone.

Reopening on 15th June

We've enjoyed seeing all the rainbows while we've been out delivering appliances and on our daily walks. And we love the message of hope the rainbows give.

So we thought we'd join in. Together as a family we painted a rainbow using our fingerprints, and we made some mini rainbows out of felt too which have been made into bunting. They've now been put up in the window. Be sure to take a look while you're passing, we hope it makes you smile!
