Monday 31st August. The wind dropped out during the evening as meteorological summer came to an end. Waves were waist to chest high as the tide filled before dark. Now we are in Autumn, we should see an increase in consistency. We have plenty of winter wetsuits in the shop and on our website (although the water will take a long time to cool down significantly).

Friday 31st July. It was another beautiful morning. July is often our flattest month and this year has reinforced those statistics! Hopefully, as we move into August, we will see the usual increase in Atlantic activity, a cooling of the pole and associated strengthening of the jet stream while the sea remains relatively warm.
