🧵 MEET THE MAKER – FOREVER STITCHED GIFTS 🧵

Hi, I’m Nicky 👋 and I’m the maker behind Forever Stitched Gifts.

My little business actually began way back in 2005, when I started making my own wedding stationery. With the support of my husband (my very own Valentine ❤️), what began as something for our wedding soon grew as friends and family started asking me to create things for their special occasions too.

Then life changed, I became a mum to two amazing boys, and my creativity took a slightly different direction!

I started making Sock Monkeys, and before long I became known as “The Monkey Lady” 🐵 — a name that stayed with me for over 10 years!

Over time, my sewing grew into something even more special. I began creating Memory Bears, pillows, blankets and other keepsakes, turning treasured clothing into something families can hold onto and cherish.

And that is really where Forever Stitched Gifts comes from. ❤️

Today, you'll usually find me behind a sewing or embroidery machine, surrounded by fabric, thread and probably several half-finished projects! 😂

Every item is still made by me, and whether I'm creating a memory bear from someone's precious clothing or a personalised gift for a special occasion, I never forget that I'm being trusted with something that means a lot to somebody.
