New Triton Kito shower in chrome fitted to replace the existing same model.
It's a good quality shower and has 2 years manufacturer's guarantee.
The customer's old shower had a leak inside the which may have been repaired with a new part but the new shower comes with the protection of a guarantee.
Happy customer has used it immediately and says it performs better than the original one ever did.

Very nice lighting replacement in various rooms of this house in Hawarden, Flintshire.
The fittings are from Dunelm Mill and supplied by the customer who made a good choice as the quality is fantastic.

Hidden fire risk from faults in your electrical installation. Urgently get your electrical installation inspected and tested.
Here the terminal screw for the red wires was loose and heat built up in the loose connection.
The red plastic to melted and the wire then became connected to the metal earth bar it was pressing against with a firey bang.
The customer had no trouble with the sockets circuit over the years, though the condition was not at all safe.
There were so many faults and dangers of poor construction from changes to the circuit.
Additionally a previous worker knew there were faults on the circuit because they had removed an important safety feature.
The circuit was originally fitted with RCD protection but instead of repairing the fault causing the RCD to trip they just removed the safety feature.

This is a recent follow up of remedial works and upgrade job as the RCD, in the circled position, had failed to trip on test button press, something the home owner should test every 6 months maximum. The new RCD is a Type A replacing the Type AC faulty one. Type A is the current standard of device to use as it gives much better protection because we use so many more appliances with built in electronics. Which leads on to the addition of the SPD - Surge protection device which guards against damaging electrical surges that can destroy electronics, damage your electrical installation and the circuit protection devices on the distribution board. It's possible surges are responsible for the failure of the RCD.

Recessed downlight fittings installed in bathroom refurbishment. Can be tricky getting them positioned satisfactorily with the ceiling joists limiting options. On other jobs I've fitted them exactly where desired by installing a lowered ceiling with the structural parts in more useful positions.
