After a fantastic site visit, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our newest location - ELLESMERE PORT ARTISAN MARKET!

We are so excited to be working with Cheshire West and Chester Council to bring the FIRST ARTISAN MARKET TO ELLESMERE PORT TOWN CENTRE!

The launch of Ellesmere Port Artisan Market will take place on SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST, and will tie in with the launch of the new market and event area.

Cheshire West and Chester Council will be officially launching this new INDOOR EVENT AREA over our launch weekend!

The reopening event programme will include an Artisan Market hosted by D&D Artisan Markets, combined with the return of the popular Market Warehouse events hosted by Ellesmere Port Collective which will feature local performers, food traders and DJs running from the afternoon until 10pm.

This event will showcase the finest artisan products Cheshire has to offer, along with incredible street food, live music and so much more throughout the day!

This event is not one to be missed! 🗓️

‘Have Courage & Be’

I’ve spent today reflecting & thinking of how to word my thoughts about today, so here goes …..

International Day of the Midwife – 5th May 2026 🤍

For those who don’t know me, alongside everything I do with Chapter & Charm Co… I’m also a registered midwife.

I worked within the NHS from 2010, and at the beginning of this year, I made one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make… I left.

This photo takes me back…
Because at the time it was taken, I was in such a good place in my midwifery career.

I felt confident.
Grounded.
Like I was exactly where I was meant to be.

I loved being a midwife.

The women I’ve had the absolute privilege to meet, care for, and walk alongside… supporting their choices during pregnancy, empowering them to birth at home, and helping them navigate those first overwhelming, beautiful moments of becoming a parent 🤍

There is nothing quite like witnessing a woman bring new life into the world. It’s awe-inspiring, every single time.

And I miss that.
I miss the women.
I miss the care.
I miss the magic of it all.

And if I’m being really honest… I also carry a sadness for the friendships I lost along the way.
People who were once a huge part of my world, who aren’t in it anymore.

That part has been really hard.

But I had to make a choice to protect my own peace and my health.

Creativity has always been something I’ve turned to… something that helped me switch off, process, and just be. My little form of therapy.

I never imagined that something that started as an escape would become something I’d try to build into a full-time business.

Yet here I am now, navigating a different path…
And along the way, I’ve been so lucky to meet some truly amazing people, who have become friends for life 🤍.

Still caring, just in a different way.
Still creating space for connection, calm, and a little bit of joy ✨

To every midwife out there today — I see you, I respect you, and I will always carry that part of me with pride 🤍

And to the women I’ve cared for… thank you. You’ve shaped me more than you’ll ever know.
