Back-to-back UK Wrap Champions. 🏆🏆

What a result.

I’m massively proud of Scott, Josh and Langers for the way they performed at The British Motor Show. Competing under pressure, against the clock and with every detail being scrutinised is a completely different challenge to a normal day in the workshop - and they delivered.

A huge thank you to Avery Dennison for supporting the competition, Spandex for backing the industry, and The British Motor Show for giving vehicle wrapping such a strong platform.

Massive respect as well to the other teams competing - CMYK Wrapping, Miss Wraps and Wrapped Up. The standard was seriously high and that is exactly what makes the competition worthwhile.

Also a special mention to Mikey from MEK, the ultimate scrutineering judge, and Ash from Wrapped UK. The judging was hard, detailed and consistent throughout - exactly how it should be.

Winning in 2025 was special.

Coming back in 2026 and doing it again is something else.

2 1/2 weeks/3500 miles/11 campsites/transit stop-overs ~ Euro-Road Trip from Whitstable, UK all the way to the Amalfi Coast and back. Some great memories made 🖤

Here are the main destinations in order: Mulhouse, Grindelwald, Furka Pass, Andermatt, Gothard Pass, Lugano, Como, Monza, Lake Garda, Imola, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Vatican City, Pompeii, Naples, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Monaco… home ✌🏼

Nite: we are fully loaded (pop-top roof, large pull-out drawer, built-in 5’ bed, kombi-seat conversion, Heimplanet air-tent, Bluetti Elite 200v2 powerbank + Charger 2, Bluetti Multicooler (freezer), Dometic CD20 fridge and 3-people).

Highlights ~ Grindelwald, Switzerland ~ Cable car ride up the mountains adjacent the Eiger 7628ft / Furka Pass - scary road taking us up to 7500ft and inches from shear drops but so worth doing this iconic Alpine Pass.

Conclusion. IONITY (avg. €0.377 kWh) slightly beats Tesla (avg. €0.40 kWh) and has better located charging points some being on the main highways. Tesla tend to be off-route and located in supermarket/hotel carparks. 🏁

For the miles we covered and the routes we planned we jumped between the two so to maximise the distance between charges. It really is about planning 💯

A mix of height restrictions on some of both IONITY/Tesla so watch your heights and plan accordingly. Our Buzz comfortably comes in under the 2m barrier so we can also get into underground carpark as well 😎

Euro-Road-trip: Camp-8 (of 11) Day-14 ((of 19) - Pompeii, Italy:

So far - about 2k miles with 1.4k still to go and cost £270 in charging costs 😎

We’ve had some great sites, we’ve had some not so great sites… this one looks up to Mt. Vesuvius 🌋

The last few have been a bit of a letdown in terms of pitch, and bathroom facilities… Switzerland by far has been the best (love Switzerland🇨🇭) - fabulous sites and facilities where as the Italian 🇮🇹 ones are… let’s say not so hot on their bathrooms/showers… (the lack of fully equipped bathrooms with little to no hot water, a toilet seat or even paper 🤷🏼‍♂️).
Luckily we have used these for just one night en-route to our main destinations 👇🏼

Anyway on our homeward journey tmrw - next stop Monaco, then Annecy stopping at Tesla and IONITY charging stations about every 2 hours or so. It’s cost is a fraction of our last trip in a diesel motor and the Buzz has been an effortless drive - absolutely love it and putting into play what we build is testament to why the Buzz can be an epic touring machine. Wizzing through the Swiss Alps (Furka Pass) with ease and sitting comfortably on the long highways at 120kph eats the miles 👊🏼

Euro-Road-Trip day 4: Lugano Lake, Switzerland 🇨🇭

Every site has its challenges, be that pitch size, uneven ground (love our air suspension), noise or just location, but we couldn’t get much closer to the water here ✌🏼

The famous Furka Pass 🇨🇭 some scary moments driving this one just inches from a shear drop and certain death 😳 but another bucket-list drive we wanted to cover off 😎✌🏼 🇨🇭

Euro-Road-trip: Camp-1 Grindelwald, Switzerland:

Air suspension doing its job 👊🏼
Levelled out means we won’t slip out of bed🤣

Being able to adjust the 4-axel heights individually ensures we are more comfortable on our travels 💪🏼

Air suspension is not for everyone. You have to be committed, both financially and technically as keeping an eye on heights, psi/bar/% and making adjustments accordingly takes a watchful eye 👀
For us, the benefits outweigh the negatives, be that some ride quality on our sh*tty roads… sorry, there’s no other way of saying it without risking cancellation… gotta love incompetent government(s) and local councils for decades of neglect 🤨
Thankfully the main roads in Europe are far better than ours 💯

Now, to enjoy all that Grindelwald has to offer. Maybe a trip on the Eiger Express (weather pending) or just a train ride up to Grindelwald First or Kleine Scheidegg to explore some mountainous lakes just below the cloud-line 😎

Back to Streetec for a front axel swap out. The improved ‘performance’ shocks/airbags provide a lower ride height and the WOW effect in relaxed (air-out) position. Controlled with the Air Lift Performance 3P control, in this case upgraded to 3H with altitude sensors.......
