"I don't like wearing this plastic cone on my head." Said Gizmo, "I can't rub my eyes on the cushions or blankets and I need to give my leg a really good itch." Button cuddled with him at the fire saying. "That is the problem buddy. You would scratch or lick your leg and we have to let it get better. They take the cone off for walks and eating. They give you extra face rubs and scratches. It won't be too much longer." Gizmo sighed and settled in for a snooze.

I'm home! They gave me an injection on one leg and wrapped it in green. They shaved and cut another leg to remove a lump and now I weigh less (🐶) then they sewed me up. I got a party bag with my name on it and Button is jealous. The vet said I might be a bit trippy but I don't know what that means - and my voice might be weak. When I try to bark I sound like one of the toys after my friend Storm has punctured the squeak and it's just hissy air which comes out. I'm not meant to get too energetic so street cats are safe, but big news, I can eat what I like. 🐾

"We can cuddle together Gizmo." said Button. "The same way you looked after me when someone tried to poison rats and I got very very sick, the Vet will look after you and remove the pointy out lump from your leg. Don't worry, tomorrow you will come home and we will both get extra special cuddles." Gizmo drifted off to sleep, gently snoring, knowing his friends were right by his side.

First fire of the season. We got caught in the rain so it's just to dry us off. We take turns.... 🐾

Our friend Storm came with us for a walk today. We met lots of friends on the beach. 🐾

We've had a busy weekend of walks and sniffs and giving love to all the hoomans we met. Our friend Joanna brought us chocolate cake and it smells gorgeous but then it disappeared! Button took the best seat in the house but I'll get my turn when he gets too warm and moves. 🐾

Woof! What a week. We had a bath then travelled on a ferry and visited Belfast and walked around the Forest our mummy used to play in. We walked around Stormont with our friend Penny. We got home to the Lake District and back to our warm fire then travelled on a steam train and walked up to a waterfall. All very tiring but great fun! Happy Easter adventures.
