🌿 MAKERS MONTH | ZEB & RO CANDLE CO. 🕯️

Today we’re shining a light on Zeb & Ro Candle Co., a small family-run business based right here in the Rossendale Valley.

Their beautifully scented candles are hand poured in Helmshore using natural soy wax, with a gorgeous collection of signature fragrances ranging from relaxing spa scents and fresh florals to woody, herbaceous aromas. They also create wax melts and reed diffusers, so there’s plenty to choose from if you love making your home smell amazing. 🤍

We love supporting local makers, and it’s brilliant to have such a lovely, family-run business creating beautiful products right here on our doorstep.

🏺 MAKERS MONTH | CHRIS WHITING CERAMICS 🏺

Next up for Makers Month is Chris Whiting

Based here in Rossendale, Chris is a ceramic artist and member of the Northern Potters Association. His individual pieces really are works of art in their own right, with beautiful shapes, textures and details that make each one stand out.

We’re delighted to have Chris’s ceramics in Society Life Store and to support another talented local maker.

🌿 MAKERS MONTH | VALLEY OF STONE 🏺

Today, we’re introducing you to Karen, the talented maker behind Karen.

Karen creates beautiful handmade stoneware ceramics, each thoughtfully crafted and completely unique. From garlic graters and herb st*****rs to botanical plaques, mugs, spoon rests, incense dishes, vases, olive bowls and more, her pieces are as practical as they are beautiful.

We love celebrating the incredible creativity of our local makers, and Valley of Stone is a perfect example of the beautiful craftsmanship we’re so lucky to have here in Rossendale. ❤️

🌿 MAKERS MONTH | HERD & ELDER 🐐

We’re kicking off Makers Month by introducing you to Herd & Elder - Goats Milk Soap & Soy Wax Candles , one of the wonderful independent makers we’re proud to stock at Society Life Store. 🤍

Based here in Lancashire, Herd & Elder create beautiful handmade goat’s milk soaps, candles and bath products using milk from their very own herd of goats. 🐐🌿

Thoughtfully made in small batches, their products are natural, nourishing and make the loveliest little everyday treats or gifts.

We love supporting independent makers and sharing the stories behind the products we stock, and there are plenty more to come!
