Happy New Year (belatedly)! Not quite the start to the year anyone had been hoping for, but we live with a promise of brighter times ahead, not in the least because the snowdrops are starting to appear, and it's not quite dark when the oven goes on for dinner!

Lottie and Lilac will be back in the coming weeks with some joyful bits to lift the spirits, and some of us are starting to get a bit excited about Easter already (it's a personal favourite).

Until then we shall be resuming 'hibernation mode', and continue to be incredibly grateful to all those people working so hard to keep us safe and ticking over.

It's looking a lot like Christmas here at Lottie and Lilac HQ, which is mostly achieved by leaning out the window and looking at the neighbours lights, as we sadly move into 'Tier 4'. We can't go anywhere, but Barbara's (the shop in Goring-on-Thames) is still open and our bits and bobs are there (upstairs), so if you're local, do pop in! Otherwise we're keeping ourselves busy making Christmas wreaths and little table decorations for teacher's presents - a variation on the scented candle or box of Roses!

We'll be back here in January once the festive food coma has abated, and will get posting pictures of more joyful things! In the meantime merry Christmas to all, stay safe and well, and look forward to seeing you on the 'other side'!
