🎃 They’re baaaack… but only for one last Halloween! 👻

I’ve been through the Little Village Candles cupboards and found the very last of our Halloween favourites — and there really aren’t many left.

And, of course, Pumpkin Spice is back for anyone who believes pumpkin season should start the moment September arrives. 🙋‍♀️

The remaining Halloween candles are £14.95 each, plus postage.

I won’t be making any more Boo!, Witchy or Cosy Corner once these have gone, so this really is their final spooky season at Little Village Candles. 🥹

After a lovely summer away, I’m back at the candle table today… and it feels very fitting that there’s a definite hint of autumn in the air 🍂🕯️

As many of you know, this year is a little bittersweet for Little Village Candles, as I’ll be winding down the business after Christmas.

So this will be our final autumn together 🥹 🤎

I’ve brought back some of your favourite autumn fragrances for one last cosy season, including Autumn Embers, Spiced Harvest, Pumpkin Spice and Hot Apple Pie.

I’ll be making these in very limited quantities using the fragrance oils and beautiful rose-gold tins I have remaining, so some will be hand-poured to order and, once they’re gone, they really are gone.

Thank you, as always, for supporting my little business. It’s lovely to be back — and I’m looking forward to making these last few months of Little Village Candles rather special. 🍂🤎

Thank you so much for all the lovely messages, comments and emails following my announcement last week. Reading through them has been incredibly emotional and I’m so grateful for the support you’ve shown Little Village Candles over the years.
What started as a small idea has brought so many wonderful customers, stockists and opportunities into my life, and I’ll always be thankful for that.
Whilst Little Village Candles enters its final season, I’m looking forward to celebrating the journey, sharing some favourite memories and, of course, continuing to pour candles until my remaining stock has found new homes. 💛

Today feels very bittersweet.

I’ve spent the last month posting and looking back on the journey. I can still picture those months before launch — studying candle making, researching suppliers, refining products, and finally reaching launch day filled with equal parts excitement and nerves.

Over the years, I’ve been so proud of how far this little candle business has come. From features in Prima, Woman’s Weekly and Top Santé, to seeing my products featured alongside brands like John Lewis — it’s been an incredible journey.

I’ve learned so much about social media marketing, seasonal collections, and running a small business, and I’ve loved every part of the experience. But sadly, this chapter is coming to an end.

This will be my final year trading as Little Village Candles. From now until the end of 2026, I won’t be creating any new products, but I will be selling through my current stock.

I’m immensely proud of everything this little business has achieved, but with the current economic climate and rising raw material costs, it’s no longer sustainable for me to continue.

To every single customer who has supported me over the years — thank you. Truly.
Every order, every message, every share and recommendation has meant the world to me.

People often say every order matters to a small business, and I can honestly say that’s completely true. I appreciate you all more than you know.

So… this is a very long and emotional way of saying: get your candles before the end of 2026! 🤪

This little business has been such a huge chapter of my life, and I don’t think I’ll ever fully be able to put into words how much this community has meant to me along the way.

Mostly, I just feel incredibly grateful for all of it ✨

5 things this little business has taught me over the years 🤍

1. Confidence doesn’t come first — you build it as you go.
2. People will always remember how your business made them feel.
3. You can be proud of something and still outgrow parts of it.
4. Small businesses are built on hundreds of unseen moments, not just the finished product.
5. Community will always matter more than numbers.

Little Village Candles has taught me so much more than how to run a business. It’s taught me resilience, creativity, balance, connection and how much love can exist inside something handmade.
And honestly, I’ll always be grateful for that ✨

There are so many things I’ll always be proud of when I look back on Little Village Candles 🤍

Not just the products or the business itself, but everything this little brand became over the years.

The community that grew around it.

The friendships made at markets.

The customers who came back again and again.

The messages from people saying our candles became part of their homes, gifting moments and everyday routines.

The creativity that started from a simple idea and slowly grew into something real.

Supporting and connecting with so many other incredible small businesses and women-owned brands along the way.

And honestly… surviving the hard seasons too.

The quiet periods.
The self doubt.
The moments of wondering if I could keep going.
The balancing act of business, family life and everything in between.

Running a small business changes you in ways you never expect. And while it hasn’t always been easy, there is so much I’ll always carry with me from this journey.

I’ve learned over the years that small business seasons change 🤍

There are seasons of excitement and growth where ideas flow endlessly and motivation feels effortless.

There are seasons where you pour everything into building something you love, learning as you go and figuring things out one step at a time.

And then there are quieter seasons too. The ones that teach you about balance, boundaries, changing priorities and listening to yourself a little more.

Running Little Village Candles for 6 years has been such a huge part of my life. But alongside the candles and the business, life has continued moving too — family life, motherhood, personal growth, changing routines, changing energy and changing perspectives.

I think one of the biggest lessons running a small business teaches you is that you evolve alongside it.

What worked for you a few years ago might not fit who you are now. And I’m learning that there’s nothing wrong with that.

There’s something really beautiful about recognising the season you’re in and allowing yourself to grow with it ✨

Watching this little business evolve over the years feels really emotional when I look back properly.

So much has changed since those early days — the branding, the products, the confidence, the lessons, the creativity… and honestly, probably me too.
