We are seeing it happen in real time across both procurement and retailing.

Here is the reality.

We do not control oil. We never have.

But we do control electricity. VERY WELL.

In 2025, renewables generated 52.5% of the UK’s electricity. That is energy produced here, not imported and not dictated by global instability.

Yet most drivers are still tied to fuel prices that can change overnight. EV drivers are not.

They are running their cars for a fraction of the cost, often saving thousands per year, and doing it using energy that is increasingly generated at home.

So the real question is not why go electric.

It is why stay dependent on something you have zero control over.
