We’ve just received an iPhone 15 Pro Max with a broken screen. It turns out the battery has swollen and is pushing the screen forward, which has caused the damage.

The image suggests that the battery is not only swollen but actually damaged or broken. Therefore, the battery will need to be replaced as well.

If the screen on your phone is bulging or pushed forward, the best thing to do is to take it to a reliable repair shop as soon as possible before the situation gets worse.

That’s the second time we’ve had to repair the USB-C charging port on a Huawei MateBook D15. Both laptops are the same model (BOHL-WDQ9). Why is this model’s USB-C port so fragile? 🤔

The USB-C port has become loose from frequent plugging and unplugging. This repeated stress has caused the port to shift and slide on the motherboard, damaging the solder joints, pads, and traces. As a result, it’s not as simple as just replacing the USB-C port — the motherboard itself has been damaged.

We’ve just received an iPhone 13 under diagnosis. The phone was dipped into water and continued working fine for a day afterward, but it stopped functioning properly last night.

From the images we can see that water entered through the SIM card slot, as the liquid damage indicator has turned red. We also noticed some corrosion on the components of the logic board.

We will contact the phone owner shortly to discuss the next steps and repair options.

📱 Google Pixel 6a Repair Story – Sometimes it’s not just a “simple drop”
A customer brought in his Google Pixel 6a today saying it fell on a carpet and suddenly wouldn’t turn on at all. Since the battery had been replaced just a few months ago, we suspected the battery might have come loose.
I opened the phone up to check… and found something more serious.
Both the battery connector and the socket on the motherboard were damaged. Even a soft drop on carpet was enough to cause this issue because the previous battery replacement may not have been seated properly, making the connection fragile.
Moral of the story:
• Even “light” drops can cause hidden damage, especially on phones that have had battery replacements.
• Always use quality parts and reliable electronics engineer for phone repair
Glad we caught the real problem and will contact the customer whether he’d like to proceed to have it repaired.
