Just a little note that our Make, Do & Mend Cafe. Is closed briefly on Monday morning as we are doing a little staff, volunteers and community training. We are open for lunches at 12noon.

The brilliant Laura Tunnacliffe gave Make, Do & Mend a crochet mosaic blanket to raffle, and this was won by a wonderful young lady who was learning crochet herself. On Wednesday Laura received a beautiful thank you note and cross stitched gift as a thank you.
We have such a wonderful community at Make Do and Mend Library on Laburnum Road. Such a pleasure to watch kindness and supporting each other flourish and encourage intergenerational friendship.

We are having a little reshape and shuffle in the Make Do and Mend Library on Laburnum Road. We now have a "Community Gallery". Inspired by Jessica Leigh Originals, where local artists can display and sell their work.
Pop in the library and see what else we are up to.

We have got some exciting workshops and sessions planned and coming up late summer and early Autumn at our Make Do and Mend venues . . . But they remain a little secret at the moment. 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤔🤗
However you can help.
Time to clean out that Tea Towel drawer and do a bit of recycling.
We are collecting any cotton tea towels (not toweling). Maybe all those ones you got as a gift from Benidorm or Blackpool and never use???? ♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️♻️
