Sadly, Bailey recently passed away, so his lovely owner asked me to recreate him as a candle, along with two more to give to family members as gifts 🥹
I always love seeing your pets come to life in candle form, but orders like this one definitely feel that little bit more special.

It’s wild how many places there are to spend your money these days, and with the convenience of Amazon making it impossible not to buy with next day delivery it makes the industry a very hard place to compete in. So whenever someone chooses to support my little business, I genuinely don’t take it for granted.

Every order that comes in still makes me smile. Not just because you’ve bought a candle, but because you’ve chosen to support a real person behind the scenes. (which makes the late long nights completely worth it!)

There are no big teams or fancy investors over here, just me (and occasionally Jake), figuring it out as I go, covered in candle wax stained pyjamas half the time.

So thank you. For shopping, sharing, recommending, and sticking around. It means a lot, and it helps me keep doing something I love every day. ✨

We’re aware we’ve been awol for a while, but we have been going through the whirlwind of a house move, which seems to have been going on for a lifetime!

Took a little break from socials while I was away on hols and honestly… it was needed 😅

And dya know what I realised? My business literally didn’t fall apart. Orders still came in. People still found me.

Don’t get me wrong, social media can be amazing for growing a business and connecting with people, but it’s so easy to get caught up thinking you always need to be posting, chasing trends, thinking of hooks and trying to keep up. I would honestly spend my whole Saturday creating content for the upcoming week, and let’s face, I’m no influencer so this s**t was time consuming 🤣

Sometimes stepping back is the best thing you can do.

I came back feeling clearer, lighter and a lot less stressed… and my mental health definitely appreciated it 🤍

Just a little reminder that you’re allowed to switch off too.
