Summer has been flying by at Kingfisher, and we’ve loved seeing so many families meet our two circus friends, Mr Lion and Mr Seal!

They’ve been making little ones smile, posing for photos and becoming familiar faces around Kingfisher, Redditch. But there’s just one problem… they don’t have proper names!🦁🦭

Let’s be honest, Mr Lion and Mr Seal aren’t quite magical enough for our two circus stars!

So, before the circus leaves town, we’re asking you to help us name them — and you could win a £30 Deichmann voucher, perfect for picking up a new pair of school shoes ready for the new term✨.

It's Wednesday, which means one thing... Craft Day at our Kingfisher Circus!🎪

It was lovely to see so many smiling faces last Wednesday as our team of clowns helped little ones create their very own clown hats.

Join us today from 11am to 4pm for another FREE craft activity, where children can make their own animal masks to take home.

You'll find us near Vision Express. No booking is required, simply come along, get creative and enjoy some circus fun!

An important update on Jumbo the Elephant...🐘

Firstly, thank you! We've been blown away by all the lovely comments following yesterday's launch of our FREE Kingfisher Circus. It was fantastic to see so many families enjoying the visit from Jumbo. ❤️

We've also received a number of messages from people concerned about Jumbo's welfare.

We're happy to confirm that, although incredibly lifelike, Jumbo is actually a giant puppet with animatronic features, brought to life by an amazingly talented team as part of our Kingfisher Circus.

So, to clear things up...

1️⃣ Jumbo is a puppet.

2️⃣ No real animals were involved in the event.

3️⃣ No animals were harmed as part of our Kingfisher Circus.

And finally... if you were absolutely convinced Jumbo was real... 👀

Specsavers currently have a 2 for 1 glasses offer starting from £70, with designer frames from £100. You can even mix and match with sunglasses or contact lenses😉.

The Kingfisher Circus continues throughout the summer holidays from 11am-4pm, with FREE family entertainment and crafts every Wednesday and Saturday, plus self-serve circus games on alternate days.

What a fantastic first day for the Kingfisher Circus!🎪

Thank you to everyone who joined us today as we welcomed Jumbo the elephant and brought a little bit of circus magic to Kingfisher 🐘
