🎹 It’s been a busy week of pianos heading off to their new homes, which means we’ve been keeping our technicians extra busy in the workshop here in Reigate getting the next batch ready for the showroom!
Every pre-owned piano we sell is carefully and thoroughly prepared by our team of experienced technicians. From servicing, regulation and voicing through to preparing and polishing the cabinet, we want our second-hand pianos to be presented in the best possible condition, inside and out, ready for their new homes.
Among the latest instruments to come through the workshop is a beautiful Boston GP156 grand piano. This one is a personal favourite, with a gorgeous warm tone and a wonderfully responsive touch to match.
We also have a rare Yamaha YUA upright - a premium Japanese-built Yamaha from circa 1982 and a predecessor to today’s YUS5, complete with its distinctive grand-style music rest.
And at the other end of the size scale, there’s a late-1980s Young Chang U109. At just 109cm tall with an unusually compact 85-note keyboard, it’s perfect for smaller spaces without compromising on the experience of owning and playing a real acoustic piano.
Also fresh from the workshop is a 1987 Yamaha U1 – the tried-and-tested workhorse of the piano world; a stunning 1993 Schimmel 130, offering premium German build quality with a fantastic tone and touch; and an almost-new 2018 Kawai K15, a compact modern upright offering excellent value for money with plenty of life ahead of it.
All of these are now prepared and ready to play in our Reigate piano showroom, alongside a great selection of other new and pre-owned instruments.
