Sometimes you need to slow down and learn something new… 🤎

It’s been so nice to wind down after such a busy summer of markets, festivals and commissions. With Christmas markets (dare I say it!) already in the planning, I’ve had some time to focus on the next step for Luna Design and developing new ideas.

I’ve been completely self-led for the past three years since starting Luna Design and have loved learning and working with leather. I’ve learnt so much about this beautiful material, but really wanted to develop my skills further and explore creating more than just jewellery.

So I was so excited to finally take my first leather workshop with RJ Leather Studio 🫶

Bex was so patient and knowledgeable, and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. I honestly didn’t imagine I’d make something so beautiful at my first class!

Sometimes it’s about slowing down, taking your time and enjoying the process. The quiet hum of the sewing machine, working at your own pace and paying attention to every little detail.

Handmade takes time. Every piece is created with care and craftsmanship, rather than being mass produced.

Leather is a real investment — not just in the material, but in the time and skill that goes into creating something made to last. 🤎

I loved this process so much and I’m absolutely buzzing with ideas for Luna Design. I can’t wait to see where this new chapter takes me. ✨

✨ It was so lovely to visit the new CURATED MAKERS ® | EST.2017 store at Battersea Power Station yesterday!✨

They’ve recently relocated into their beautiful new space, home to 60+ independent makers, and it was fantastic to see it so busy, with so many people championing handmade on the high street, discovering beautiful pieces and supporting small independent businesses 🫶

As you walk in through the Riverside Walk Entrance, you’ll see Curated Makers opposite on the Upper Ground Floor.

Pop in, have a browse and of course, find Luna Design whilst you’re there! ✨

So many gorgeous finds to discover, all created by talented independent makers.

That’s a wrap on in-person markets for now! ✨

It’s been such a wonderful year of markets, but it’s time for a little break until November. I’m looking forward to having some time to work on new designs, experiment with new ideas and get back to making. 💛

I’m also really excited to be doing a leather course in September. After two years of teaching myself, learning as I go and developing my skills with leather, I can’t wait to deepen my knowledge and take my leather-making to the next level❤️

🌑🌙 Solar eclipse tonight! 🌙🌑

Who’s watching? And did you manage to find eclipse glasses before they started selling for absolutely CRAZY prices online?! 😂

The good news is, you don’t necessarily need special glasses to enjoy it — there are loads of creative ways to watch safely, from making a simple pinhole projector with cardboard to using things like a colander to create little crescent-shaped shadows. ✨

And of course, today feels like the perfect excuse to give some love to my Half Moon earrings 🌙💫

A little nod to the moon, and very fitting for Luna Design! 😉

This weekend you’ll find me at my very first Curated Makers Market at the iconic Battersea Power Station.

Join me as one of 22 independent makers at the Curated Makers Summer Market and discover a fantastic selection of handmade products from talented small businesses.

Make a day of it while you’re there—wander along the riverside, browse over 150 shops, enjoy coffee, lunch or an ice cream, or take in the incredible views from Lift 109, with Great British Summer offers currently available.

I’m also delighted to share that Luna Design is now stocked in the Curated Makers shop, so if you can’t make it to the market this weekend, you’ll still be able to shop my colourful leather jewellery and accessories whenever you’re visiting Battersea Power Station.

Such a wonderful weekend trading at Good Vibrations Society Festival ☀️✨

Gorgeous sunshine, incredible music and the best atmosphere. One of my favourite things was seeing people choose a pair of earrings, put them on straight away and head off to dance in them. It always makes me smile seeing my jewellery become part of someone’s day.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my stall, had a chat and supported my small business. What a wonderful weekend!

Back at the workbench after an incredible weekend at WOMAD Festival. ✨

My feet are tired, my voice is a little hoarse, but my head is full of inspiration. From amazing music and creativity to wonderful conversations, it was one of those weekends that reminds me why I love festival season so much.

Now it’s time to restock, make more colourful pieces, and get everything ready because this weekend you’ll find me at another of my absolute favourites… Good Vibrations Society Festival! 🌿💛 Good Vibrations Society

This weekend I’m at WOMAD working as a photographer, but it reminded me where Luna Design really began.

For years, festivals have been one of my biggest sources of inspiration.

The colour. The creativity. The music. The community. The freedom to express yourself and wear what makes you feel like you.

Behind my camera, I’m always drawn to the little moments: bold outfits, statement jewellery, smiling faces, unexpected conversations and people celebrating their individuality.

Those moments stay with me long after the festival ends, inspiring the colours, shapes and joyful designs I create for Luna Design.

Every pair I make is a little reminder to embrace colour, celebrate your individuality and wear what makes you smile.
