When you place an order I will advise you of an estimated time-scale to complete your order. Products available for immediate dispatch are available via my etsy shop. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, paypal or bacs. Cleared payment will need to be

ETSY UPDATE

Further to my last post, Im very happy to see that Etsy have listened to all their unhappy sellers and have made some changes to the way they show pricing again! This is so much better!! It shows the actual cost of the item and also the cost with postage so hopefully it’s a bit clearer! Thank you to Etsy for listening to us all!!

Please also note that for the foreseeable, I will only be offering ready made items in my shop. Due to some changes in my life outside of Hook, Yarn & Crochet I’m finding I have less crochet time so this is the best way for me to manage my workload! If there is something that you would like, and can’t see it in my shop, please feel free to message me and I will let you know if I can help!

Etsy have made some changes to the way they show our products on their site which initially makes it look like I’ve upped my prices!! Please know this is NOT the case!! Etsy now show the total price including postage … which is great …. If you’re only buying one item, however this price isn’t helpful for sellers like myself who only charge postage once per order! The discount will be calculated as usual when you checkout and nothing at all has changed in my pricing! For example, at first glance it looks like you’d be charged £22.50 for 2 of my turtles with 2nd class postage, however it would actually only be £18.75 (prices correct as of March 2026) and this is the price you would see at checkout.

I just wanted to make you aware of this change! From what I understand, this is just for UK sellers.

Im not anti this change, I think transparency with pricing is a great idea - the amount of times I’ve shopped online and then been put off by shipping charges which aren’t shown till checkout… however I do think they need to have a way to show that postage discounts are available for multiple items ordered (I have communicated this to Etsy too!!).

Popping on now to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Gosh December seems to be flying by! Can’t believe we’ve eaten 10 advent calendar chocolates already!!! I just wanted to pop on with a quick update! As announced, my made to order listings closed on Monday 8th and I’m chuffed to let you know that everything has been made and the last of the orders will be off in the post tomorrow! My little hands have not stopped over the last few weeks so a massive thank you for keeping me so busy!!

Ready made stock is still open, I thought I’d made plenty but quite a few colours and items have sold out! I’m sorry!!! I will be doing my best to restock some of the more popular colours over the next few days so do keep checking Etsy if there is something you want (feel free to send me a message and I can let you know if or when it’ll be restocked!). My last post run for the year will be Wednesday 17th so I will keep ready made listings open until then (or until I run out of that happens to be sooner!).

And finally, if you’re local to Reigate, Surrey - you can collect your orders up until Christmas Eve - pop me a message to arrange this.
