Wrapping the week for Riverbendflowersyork with more deliveries and a couple of pick ups. Happy 70th, thank you so much, get well soon, happy anniversary, love you, new home, retirement - just some of the reasons to send or receive flowers. Lots of pre planned bouquets and a few last minute (oh god I forgot!).

Remember when you get your flowers the best place is the middle of a room (no direct sunlight as it can get too hot) and lots of really fresh water - bleach out or put through the dishwasher any vase you use and refresh the water regularly for longer lasting flowers.

Rounding up the week with a few photos of flowers delivered. Including our weekly arrangements to The Drovers Arms - Restaurant & Country Pub for the bar and reception and also welcome home bouquets for who have a new development in Burn - how amazing to arrive at your new home not just to keys and empty rooms but to a bouquet of flowers and a welcome.

We also delivered birthdays, thank yous, flowers for a party, corporate reception flowers and some regular subscription bouquets/buckets. Along with a few last minute panicked husbands - although these are fairly regular šŸ˜.

Next week although shorter due to the Bank Holiday we will do it all again and include two weddings. Putting our feet up now for a well earned rest.

Hello Monday, loving today's thank yous and happy anniversary flowers. 6 pink, caramel and blue bouquets to say thank you to amazing staff, golden baskets to say happy anniversary.

This morning was the perfect start to the week, chatting away to one of my very favourite humans while we put flowers together - delivering to our lovely customers then the not so fun, ordering, invoicing, quoting, checking stock, washing buckets and glassware - the life of florists everywhere (20% dreamy, 80% hardwork)

A morning trip to the hospital, necessary but unpleasant in the heat (huge respect to those that work for the NHS - hot sticky hospital and in the department I was in full of moaning patients who don't know how to either silence their phones or have a quiet conversation!) meant that the gorgeous Anne managed Riverbend Flowers morning deliveries on her own. Back home this afternoon to put together a late bouquet. We are back to mormal tomorrow.
