Taking place THIS WEEKEND (8th–9th August), this unique 24-hour fundraising challenge will see sheep sheared using power generated entirely by static bikes – all in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Keep an eye out for the ACT logo on the event clothing, and if you're coming along, be sure to visit our ACT trade stand while you're there!

Congratulations to Joyce McPheator on receiving a 45-Year Long Service Award from the Royal Highland Agricultural Society, presented yesterday at Stranraer Show

Joyce recently retired after an incredible 45 years with ACT, having dedicated her career to supporting farmers as an Area Manager. This prestigious award is a fitting recognition of her unwavering commitment, professionalism and outstanding service to both ACT and the agricultural industry.

July is Sheep Lameness Month!

So, to help farmers stamp it out in their flocks, we're taking a deep dive into the causes of lameness, and how to manage it, over the next four weeks.

According to AHDB, lameness costs the industry up to £80m per year, affecting around three million sheep at any one time [1].

So, be sure to follow us this lameness month to avoid adding to those statistics.
