Make do and mend.....stitch it don't ditch it.....sew it don't throw it.
Learn to use a sewing machine to keep clothes in circulation rather than going to landfill.

Dave, one of our new directors is busy developing a new website.
Here's creating reels about activities we can offer.
Sam is keen to run card making activities. Turn your unwanted stuff into wonderful greetings cards.
I turn my hand to allsorts. However Textiles is my passion. The collar is a piece I designed and made for a Cosplay costume.
The other bits became a 'Poldark' style coat.
There are so many skills just waiting for people to come along.

The downstairs workshop is always busy and productive. ......but we need more upstairs, clean craft members. Enjoy making greetings cards, discover how your sewing machine works, do some weaving, knitting, crochet, embroidery.....the list is endless.
Being upstairs doesn't exclude you from being downstairs....I love being amongst our wonderful members wherever they are.
Don't forget we have a little garden to care for

Lovely to see Chris the blind woodturner back in the workshop today. His face is a picture of concentration.....one of those things Chris doesn't get to see.
We are here due to his vision and desire to develop a safe, creative community.

Made whilst away for a few days from the back of my van. Most going up for sale a week on Sunday. Ripley craft market and Broomfield craft sale.

Well the Sun is out and the sky is blue, all we need now is to open the door to the shed so we can have fun, sun and laughter.
