✨FATHER’S DAY: UNDER £10 GIFT GUIDE✨

🌱Open 9.30am til 4.30pm, Tuesday to Saturday on North Street, and 24/7 online - order up until Saturday afternoon for local delivery in Ripon.

🌱We’ll have a stall at this weekend’s Wellness & Yoga Day in the Old Deanery, but our shop will be open as usual so pop in for your refills, coffee & a pastry ☺️

🌱IS IT TOO LATE TO SOW SEEDS?🌱
I don’t think so… I’ve just started some Artichoke seeds that will be ready to be planted out after I’ve harvested the garlic at the end of the month.
And I’ve just started a Grow Bar for some fragrant foliage in time for a September wedding.

It’s also a great time to sow (more) radishes and lettuces so you get successive harvest, hardy crops like kale that will tolerate colder autumn weather, and you can sow biennials now for flowers next year 🌸

🌱The great thing about sowing seeds in June is that you don’t need to take up loads of windowsill space and harden them off - you can grow them outside and you can plant out as soon as they’re ready. Late seedlings often grow quickly in the warm weather and sometimes catch up with earlier sowings. And if they don’t, we get good weather well into September these days so you’ll have a longer harvest on the plot.
