Our story so far…

2010: “There has to be a better awning for our campervan.”

2013: There wasn’t. So we made one.
James designed it. Sarah named it: Glawning.

2013-2015: We took it to campsites, shows & festivals … started selling.
The feedback? 🔥

2016: Had a baby ❤️

2017: Big year:
→ Started our own festival
→ Left the legal world
→ Got a warehouse
→ Went full time on Glawning

2018-2025: Turns out people really like our products 🥹
Won some awards 🏆
Presented some awards 🏆
Sponsored some awards 🏆

2025: James pitched on Dragons’ Den 👀

2026: Swapped hustle for sea air 🌊
Moved to the North Coast of Ireland to trial running Glawning and Glampfest remotely. So far so good.

Still building. Still growing. Still glawning.

There are a LOT of footnotes to this story 😅
We haven’t even mentioned our Glambassador joys…
or Brexit/Covid/fulfilment centre woes…

But we’ll save those for another day 😆

How much do I need to trim a flashing kit for a 60mm double-walled flue?

The short answer: not very much at all!

Our advice is always to trim a little at a time. You can always take more off, but you can't put it back on once it's gone!
