A very special visitor yesterday - this Turtle Dove was spotted and put on a great show for us yesterday afternoon. It has made a brief appearance again this morning so we will be keeping our eyes peeled!

A lovely day at Feathers yesterday🥰
A big "catch-up" with friends I hadn't seen for ages, well done to the Joe bloke for organizing it, it reminded me just how much being at the shop was such a special part of my later life.
Many sincere thanks for all the cards and kind wishes, as many of you know...reaching 80 was a bit of a bonus for me, luckily I have managed to keep my grumpiness, my sense of humor and my incredible good looks into the evening of my life, I will add that Fennella has a lot to do with that, Feathers with Joe was simply the icing on the cake😍
The Joe bloke took a few photographs🙂 as I am in all of them I consider it my duty to post them on here 🙄

Three of the four young Kestrels were stretching their wings on the church roof this morning, leaving the relative safety of the nest, until a Raven landed nearby and they scurried back inside. Both mum and dad Kestrel then proceeded to hound the Raven until it decided to move on.
