Today’s work - Boosey and Hawkes Round Stamp Tenor Horn - Circa 1984/85.

Full service completed. Sonic/Chemical and detergent cleaned. Valves and slides fully regulated. New felts and corks and final polish. This is a belter and plays really well. Compression is excellent and no valve wear!

Not so ‘Sterling’ euphonium brought back to life.!

Full service (Sonic/Chemical/detergent clean of all parts). Chemical/detergent soak and comprehensive clean out of all ports. New felts and corks and a right good polish!

Something a bit different today!
La Fleur Sousaphone. Awkward blighters these!

Client invested in some repairs here major dent removals, brace realigned and soldered back in place and a full service and clean up.

Full service, slide realigned and regulated, main slide port rounded to fit, bell throat dents removed, rotary fully regulated and restrung. Clean and slick!

This trombone has had a life!!
Needed loosening up a bit. Slides sonic and chemical cleaned and regulated. Rotary same and re-stringed. Slide aligned also and freed up and polished. Mouthpiece shank rounded also. Take a look at the pics and videos (next comment for videos). Contact us for great value prices.

Take care when soaking your instruments. Particularly brass with clear lacquer coating. If you soak in water that is too warm/hot ‘blushing’ or ‘hazing’ can occur. Here is one example that we’ve managed to rescue much to the customers delight!
