Why did you start Copper
Cup?
I wanted a copper stand for my wedding, so my plumber husband made one from copper pipe. It got me thinking… what else could I make? Over the years, through Covid, the need for letterbox-friendly gifts and materials being discontinued, I leaned more and more into wire work, until eventually, it completely took over!

What’s your why?
I always wanted to work for myself; I’ve never been suited to a 9–5 or having a boss! I’ve always been creative, so combining the two just made sense. It lets me work around raising my kids while contributing financially to our family, and it works really well for us.

What inspires you?
I’m an absolute sucker for seasonal decor, and gift giving is definitely my love language! I love finding that perfect, thoughtful gift for someone, so a lot of my inspiration comes from creating pieces I’d genuinely love to give or have in my own home.

Don’t get me wrong, I love an autumn B&M haul as much as the next person 😂 but the downside is, we all end up with the same stuff! Shopping with small handmade businesses means finding those unique pieces you won’t see in everyone else’s home. 🍂🎃

Bookmarks are my best seller, and I think it’s because they can be made so personal. A name, nickname, favourite sport or flower or something completely custom, made especially for them.

Customers come back for them for everyone’s birthdays! 📖 📚

🎀 Love Jack bows – if you’d like to add a bow to a large knitted pumpkin, these need to be pre-ordered through me via socials as I order the bows in.
